2nd Force Reconnaissance Association spans multiple generations of service and commitment. This includes all 2nd Force Reconnaissance Marines from every rank. Each Marine and Sailor who has ever served in 2nd Force Recon Company is—and shall always be—considered a valued member of our Association.
Major Jim Capers was notified by HQMC today (21 May 2026) that his Medal of Honor Ceremony will be on 18 June at 1600 at the White House!!! Details shall be shared as we get more information.
On 20 April 2026, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, called Major Jim Capers to invited him to the White House to receive his Medal of Honor!!!
