2nd Force Reconnaissance Association spans multiple generations of service and commitment. This includes all 2nd Force Reconnaissance Marines from every rank. Each Marine and Sailor who has ever served in 2nd Force Recon Company is—and shall always be—considered a valued member of our Association.
IT IS OFFICIAL! On Thursday, March 26, 2026, the President signed into law: H.R. 3377, which authorizes the President to award the Medal of Honor to James Capers, Jr., for acts of valor as a member of the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Major Jim Capers has been approved for the Medal of Honor!!!
